I liked the fact that you explained Facebook as we know it, and it is for this reason that I cannot see Facebook as a teaching platform; however, it is a great tool for interaction of any kind. One major disadvantage in this platform is the incompatibility with other applications, this fact makes Facebook very unpractical in the teaching aspect; one must remember that socializing is important, but in education may other things are needed. Hello! your presentation was good, you express all the information clearly. What I like of this page is that almost all the people know how to use it, and most of all is free. Nevertheless, the only disadvantage is that students can get distract chatting with their friends or just seeing images or pages in facebook.
I was experiencing the same issue as my classmates and I'm glad you fixed it.
I liked your presentation, I was just wondering if using Facebook as a platform to study wouldn't interfere with the common use we give to Facebook currently. I think it is a good idea to use this social network for educational intentions. However, I don't think it is a good idea to study there since all the distractions will be there temping us to check other people's profiles, pictures, medias, instead of studying. I mean, I know that it is part of the autonomy, but still I think is a huge temptation/distraction.
Just a suggestion, I know it is really cool to have this private entries, and having a verification window, I just think it is a little too much and a bit confusing for some of us, since it took me more then 5 minutes only to submit my comment trying to prove i'm not a robot! :) hahaha I think i have robot soul!
Hello Camilo. I got ot be honest, it was a little bit hard for me to understand your presentation because it has to much information in each slide. I think the idea of the organization is very good but a presentation with that much amount of text is a little bit harder to understand. Even though, I think you explained everything correctly and you got an interesting subject!
